Musicians: Howard Jones & ABC with Haircut One Hundred

Electronic music pioneer Howard Jones has been a constant presence on the international touring scene for the past four decades, playing live in a number of different configurations including intimate solo shows and dates with his full high-tech band set-up.

ABC has enjoyed a glittering career to date. Very definitely one of several groups who came along and kick-started the Eighties with their own brand of pop for a ‘new decade’.

Haircut 100 are a British jazz-funk/pop band formed in London in 1980. The band enjoyed commercial success with their first releases in the early 1980s and had a Top 3 album and four Top 10 singles in the UK. They have reformed several times since 2004 and a live recording of their debut Pelican West album performed in its entirety was released in 2011.

Band: Greta Van Fleet

An American rock band from Frankenmuth, Michigan, Greta Van Fleet formed in 2012 and consists of the Kiszka brothers: twins Josh (vocals) and Jake (guitar), Sam (bass guitar, keyboards), and Danny Wagner (drums). They were signed to Lava Records in March 2017 and a month later released their debut studio EP, Black Smoke Rising. Their debut single, “Highway Tune”, topped the Billboard US Mainstream Rock and Active Rock stations in September 2017 for four weeks in a row. The group released two EPs followed by their first full-length record, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, in 2018. The band followed that up with the sweeping, alluring, often ecstatic LP, The Battle at Garden’s Gate, in 2021. Hit songs from that album include “Heat Above” and “Light My Love”. The band’s heavy rock sound is influenced by the work of Led Zeppelin and many other rock and blues acts, with lead vocalist Josh Kiszka having a voice that has been compared to Robert Plant’s “husky howl”.

Their debut album, From the Fires, clinched the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album at the 61st Grammy Awards, making their mark on the rock music scene. Greta Van Fleet's live shows have garnered praise for their high energy and stage presence, solidifying their reputation as an exhilarating live act.
